I have been fortunate to enjoy a career in public education spanning over 16 years.
In 2001, I graduated with a BA degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and soon after worked as a public information officer for the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries.
From 2003-2014, I taught English in public schools throughout the Mississippi Pine Belt.
After earning my MS in Educational Administration from the University of Scranton in 2014, I moved into administration in George County School District serving as an administrator at Central Elementary, the district alternative school, and Rocky Creek Elementary.
It is now my honor to begin a new journey as principal of Benndale Elementary School.
Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, I am married to my wife, Candy, who works in the medical field. We have one son, Keirnan, who currently attends Gulf Coast Community College for pre-physical therapy. I also have two dogs: Archie, a basset hound, and Ellie, a border collie mix. When I'm not working to complete my EdS degree, I enjoy spending time with my family and pets, reading, filmmaking, music, and martial arts.
I'm looking forward to working and learning with the Benndale community for many years to come. I can be reached by email at [email protected] with any concerns.
